New Enrolments / Waiting List

Enrolment takes place three times a year at the end of each term (March, July and December). Places are initially given to children and adults already at the school and any free places are then offered to those on the waiting list.

We would like to remind you that the lessons at our school are for children who are being brought up bilingually, i.e. who regularly and actively use the German language. Due to a lack of demand we currently do not offer lessons in “German as a foreign language” for children. “German as a foreign language” is only available for adults.

Children between 3.5 and 10 years of age
If your child is of this age and you are interested in a place at the Germany Saturday School, then please fill in the contact form below. We will then contact you, and when a place becomes available in the right class we will invite you to attend a free trial lesson. If there are no places available we will place your child on the waiting list. As soon as a place becomes available we will get in touch with you. Our children’s classes have a maximum number of 13 pupils and most of them are fully booked. The highest demand is for the Mice class (3-4-year-olds) and Penguins class (4-5 year-olds).

Children under 3.5 years of age
If your child is less than 3.5 years old, we ask you not to put your child on the waiting list until it is 3 years old. In this way the waiting list remains up-to-date and doesn’t become too long. This neither speeds up or slows down the process. It is often difficult for us to predict when what number of places will become available. We ask for your understanding with this.

Anyone wishing enrol themselves or their child for the first time should please get in touch with Jeanette Kyle, because the children’s classes, in particular, are often full. Many thanks!
