38 pupils sign up for school's first term
The German Saturday School, Bristol, has now completed enrolling its first pupils and we are delighted to already have 38 pupils signed up for the first classes in January.
There will be 25 children aged 3 to 5 in the Kindergarten, who will be taught by two teachers and three classroom assistants. The other 13 children will be in the older "school" class for 5-8 year olds.
In fact, enrolment has gone so well that we unfortunately do not have any more space for children in the Kindergarten class for the spring term.
Please note that the school class will also be open to five-year-olds born before 1 September 2002; previously they were meant to go into the Kindergarten. Parents can, however, keep five-year-olds in the Kindergarten if they so wish.
